The First Fire

There's a moment in every build when an idea becomes reality.

For us, that moment came when we lit the fire for the very first time. After months of planning, designing, and countless months of construction, seeing the heater come to life was a milestone we'll never forget. The crackle of the timber, the warmth filling the room, and the first signs of steam marked the beginning of something much bigger than the completion of a project - it marked the beginning of Bohdi. Then the fumes of the fresh heater hit us, made us reconsider our choice to indulge in the moment and successfully gassed ourselves….whoopsie

As the heat built and the first steam rolled across the room, we knew we had created more than a mobile sauna, we’d created a health hazard. After clearing out and letting that first fire burn the fumes dissipated and the satisfaction came rolling in with the drops of condensation on the glass. It reminded us that in any moment of reflection the true nature of the now is all powerful to life’s choices - and we are so happy we chose Bohdi.
